Since 2016, we’ve navigated the challenges of sustainable agriculture in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, learning valuable lessons along the way. Now, we’re building a resilient network of “Good Food Villages” to empower communities, generate sustainable income, and create a brighter future for all.

Our Current Stage: Pioneering a Scalable Model for Sustainable Rural Development

We have developed a promising pilot model in Ongur, laying the groundwork for a scalable and impactful initiative. This model includes:

  • Country Stay with Clean Ambiance: Offering visitors a serene and authentic rural living experience.
  • Community Kitchen on the Highway: Serving delicious local cuisine and natural products crafted by women’s groups, fostering empowerment and self-reliance.
  • Work in Progress: Developing a 70+ acre community-managed farm, featuring food forests to ensure sustainable, year-round and long term income for the community.

Our vision is to create a truly sustainable rural development model that integrates agritourism and cottage industries. By inviting more community members, investors, and CSR partners, we aim to establish Ongur as a benchmark agritourism destination, driving economic and social development in Ongur and its neighboring villages.

This initiative not only offers unique and enriching experiences for visitors and consumers but also demonstrates measurable growth and positive impact for investors and stakeholders. With over 8 years of experience and trials, we are ready to replicate this proven model in other regions, spreading the benefits of sustainable development far and wide.
